§ TRUST & STANDARDS

Editorial policy

Last updated 2026-08-05 · Applies to MedFlux educational content (blog, glossary, regulator hubs, data explainers)

1. PURPOSE

MedFlux publishes regulatory education and product information for medical device professionals. Content is informational and not legal advice. Always verify obligations with qualified counsel and primary regulator publications before acting.

2. PEOPLE-FIRST & ANTI-DOORWAY STANDARD

We index pages that add unique workflow value (analysis, process steps, tools, data). Thin template combinations are de-indexed or removed from sitemaps. Volume is not a quality metric.

3. SOURCES

Prefer primary sources in this order:

  1. Regulator official sites and statutes (FDA, EUR-Lex, PMDA, NMPA…)
  2. IMDRF / international standards bodies
  3. Peer-reviewed or widely cited industry guidance
  4. Secondary explainers only when they add practical workflow detail

Deep glossary and hub pages include outbound source links where applicable.

4. REVIEW & BYLINES

Expanded glossary terms show a last reviewed date and are reviewed against editorial standards maintained by the MedFlux editorial board. Named blog bylines indicate the primary editorial persona responsible for the piece. Product marketing pages are labeled as such and kept separate from educational definitions.

5. UPDATES & CORRECTIONS

Regulatory frameworks change. We prioritize updates when statutes, transition timelines, or high-traffic guides (e.g. MAUDE → AEMS) shift. Factual errors: email corrections via the contact / demo form with the URL, claimed error, and preferred primary source. Material corrections are applied with an updated review date when practical.

6. AI ASSISTANCE DISCLOSURE

Drafting and structural editing may use AI tooling. All published educational content is reviewed for accuracy against primary sources and product positioning. AI is not used to fabricate citations, testimonials, or review ratings.

7. COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIPS

MedFlux is a commercial SaaS product. Free tools and educational content may include product CTAs. We do not sell editorial rankings of competitors. Affiliate relationships, if introduced later, will be disclosed on affected pages.

8. STRUCTURED DATA INTEGRITY

We do not publish fabricated aggregate ratings or fake reviews in schema. Organization, article, FAQ, dataset, and software markup reflect visible page content.
